According to data from Central Statistical Office, over 88% of large Polish companies use ERP or CRM systems. Automation in data gathering, their exchange and analysis have simplified the decision-making process and became a vital tool for the development of many companies in various industries. However, from our observations we gather that in many cases companies still do not communicate with its own environment in the supply chain in a way that would be integrated and automatic.
Popularization of the Internet has resulted in fax machines being obsolete as well as limiting the amount of phone calls in favor of e-mail messages, communicators or online auctions.
Nonetheless, very often we gather and update acquired data that afterward we enter into the system operating within the organization. Sometimes the data is sorted and undergoes preliminary processing using more or less complex spreadsheets.
